| email piping -

hi,
We just got the trial license for SupportSuite to use on a private server with RHEL5. So we have set it up, and it is running ok.
But setting up the email is not as easy. We believe that piping is the best option as it is instant. However our mailserver (Zimbra) and the Kayako server are different servers.
Is it still possible, with different servers, to do piping?
On the kayako server I have created the following:
- in the mail parser create an email queue using pipe method
- created a user in staff that has access to General Tickets. All permissions set to yes. The user has the same email address as created on the mailserver.
- as we use sendmail, added in /etc/aliases: nami: "|/etc/smrsh/index.php"
- even tried with php -q, but no difference.
- run newaliases
- linked /etc/smrsh/index.php with the actual /cli/index.php
- /cli/index.php has 755 as permissions
- selinux and firewall are disabled.
but no luck in getting tickets in.
Can anyone let me know what I might be missing here.
thanks, Patrick
