We are migrating to Exchange and IMAP and POP will be disabled. I have no control over those services. In order to have my tickets created via email this presents a problem.
I was wondering if the following would work:
1) Install a mapi application such as PopMonger on the same server as Kayako to pull back the email.
2) Use PopMonger to redirect the incoming mail to an email server on the same box
3) Retrieve the email from that localhost using pipe to create the tickets.
Trying to get creative and there isn't any mapi support in Kayako which is a bit frustrating. Anyway, would this method work? Or I suppose I wouldn't necessarily even have to pipe it correct? |
