How to change POP3 Mail fetching interval - 27-07-2007, 10:55 AM

Hi!

In the "Scheduled Tasks" menu the interval for POP/IMAP Fetching is fixed to "Every 10 Minutes". I would like to set an interval of 1 Minute? Is that possible? Where can I make these settings?

Thanks
Ares

If you're on a windows system, you can change the interval in the scheduled task you setup with wGet.

HTH,

Rich

Features I need asap:
1) Ticket search in the client portal!
2) Column display in client portal showing clients email address or name
3) Downloads by client
(i.e. - each client has their own download area and can't see/touch downloads for any other client.) This would be on top of a "public" download area.
4) Integrated KB image uploads
The ability for staff to upload images with a KB articles.
Cheers!

In Linux you can also set your cron to run however often you want.

Instead of executing the global cron trigger (../cron/index.php) you can force the parser/fetcher to run by calling http://www.domain.com/supportsuite/c....php?_t=parser at whatever interval you set your system cron to execute it.

There is no way to modify SupportSuite's own schedule for the parser, other than to create a seperate cron as described above.

This is what we have on our cron job:

Code:
wget -O/dev/null http://<server>/<kayako_dir>/cron/index.php?_t=parser
And it works

Good to know although a few more cron examples can be found in the Email Parser section of the manual.
