mail to large to deliver - 04-06-2008, 01:56 PM

Having an issue with mail being too large and causing Kayako to go crazy.

Anyone else have this issue?

The Problem:

email coming into Kayako is too large in size, so it sites in the mail queue and does not get processed.

This also causes other smaller email to get stuck there as well, causing a build/backup up of mail.

I have increased the attachment size allowed in Kayako and also the file size PHP allows in the php.ini file.

Any other steps I can do to solve this problem?

Which version of Kayako are you using?

This happens to me every now and then and i stop getting tickets. I have to actually log into the pop box and delete the large email.

I have taken steps which were suppose to stop this but it still happens every now and then and drives me nuts.

I had the same problem, the only solution that I have reached is to setup a autoreply and message deletion directly on mailserver (autoreply that says not to send messages with size over X MB - and to use a web based ticket submit option - where files can be uploaded too)
