piping different domains, same server - 25-04-2008, 02:45 PM

I'm trying to pipe from two different domains on the same server, but so far it's not working.

This is a cpanel server.

Let's say they're domain1.com and domain2.com

I have kayako installed on domain2.com and piping working fine. Not a problem there.

On domain1.com I can only pipe relative to it's home directory via cpanel, so I can't pipe directly to the domain2 '/cli/index.php'. Instead, I tried copying '/cli/index.php' to domain1.com and changed the paths inside 'index.php' to that of domain2.php.

I'd send test messages and whenever it said it couldn't find a file (config.php, includes/functions_cli.php, etc..) I'd copy them over to domain1.com.

Eventually, after copying over 5 or 6 files, I no longer recieved missing file errors, but piping still isn't working. They bounce back with this error:

Code:
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

  pipe to |/home/domain1/public_html/cli/index.php
     generated by support@webnethosting.info
    local delivery failed
Is this even possible? I'm trying to avoid using forwards (but will if it's my only choice.)

I'm having the same problem.
I created 2 accounts on the same server. I run the website/email on the first account and installed SupportSuite on the second account. On the first account, I forward emails to |/home/account2/public_html/cli/index.php , but the system didn't pipe my emails. I got the same message:

pipe to |/home/account2/public_html/cli/index.php
generated by zzz@mydomain.com
local delivery failed
Any ideas on this issue?

Thank you,
Tommy
