Serious Piping Issues - New Client just today - 28-06-2006, 11:56 PM

Ok - I can not for the life of me get this set up to pipe. Here is what i have.

In Esupport I did the PHPINFO - and path shows this:
/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php

So in my cli/index.php file I have this:
#!/usr/local/lib/php -q

My parser is setup for the support@inaudia.com

My forwarder is set to this:
"|/home/username/public_html/support/cli/index.php"

What am I missing guys?

Any help would be awesome!!!!

Thanks!

i notice how so many questions posted show to be incomplete so I thought I would complete this one -

I found this buried away but on cpanel it is best to make sure you don't have an email alias set up for the piping and for the forward - use this:

"|/usr/local/bin/php /home/username/public_html/support/cli/index.php"

I had to dig but I found it!

so you use cPanel in that case...

You do not need to edit anything in the file /cli/index.php you just need to change the file permission too 755

and you just need to have email forwarded too |/home/username/public_html/support/cli/index.php

none of this "|/usr/local/bin/php /home/username/public_html/support/cli/index.php" stuff.

I have cPanel and thats how mine is setup and works just fine... I am a Kayako Reseller and have installed this on hundreds of my clients machines and 98% of them run cPanel and do theirs the exact same way and all works fine.

I get the following in response to any email sent...

Am I missing something?

------ pipe to |/home/ps2hq/public_html/support/cli/index.php
generated by betarequest@ps2hq.com ------

Usage: php [options] [-f] <file> [args...]
php [options] -r <code> [args...]
php [options] [-- args...]
-a Run interactively
-c <path>|<file> Look for php.ini file in this directory
-n No php.ini file will be used
-d foo[=bar] Define INI entry foo with value 'bar'
-e Generate extended information for debugger/profiler
-f <file> Parse <file>.
-h This help
-i PHP information
-l Syntax check only (lint)
-m Show compiled in modules
-r <code> Run PHP <code> without using script tags <?..?>
-s Display colour syntax highlighted source.
-v Version number
-w Display source with stripped comments and whitespace.
-z <file> Load Zend extension <file>.

args... Arguments passed to script. Use -- args when first argument
starts with - or script is read from stdin

UPDATE: I used the following and was succesful..

|/usr/local/bin/php /home/ps2hq/public_html/support/cli/index.php
