wget not working with exchange server - 27-01-2008, 10:27 PM

Hi All,

Hope you can help, been struggling with this for a few hours. Just can't get the fetch to work at all.

Running windows server 2003. Have downloaded wget and am using as per the setup guide. Have tried a few variations also as per the forum suggestions.

Firstly, the job runs. I understand that it runs automatically anyhow while logged in. It's not grabbing any email and I can't find any logs as to what exactly is happening either. All I see is the dos window pop up (but it's blank).

I tried to run wget with a logfile entry and no logfile was created.

If I run the url

.../cron/index.php

I get a blank page.

If I run the url

.../cron/index.php?_t=parse

I get "No Cron Job Found!"

Can anyone provide some pointers for me to start resolving this please?

I'd appreciate any opinions on whether pop or imap is best also.

Hi Thomas,

What is the best way to get emailing working with Exchange Server on Windows Server 2003?
I suppose you'll need to use some additional software, like wget.
Is there someone else who set up emailing with Exchange Server and the SupportSuite?

Any help would be appreciated.

You will need wget to fetch the email at regular intervals from your Exchange server.

I run Windows Server 2003 with IIS 6.0 and Exchange Server.
Is there not another option except GNU Wget for my situation?
