Need the ability for a client to close their own ticket through the Support Center web interface like they could in v2.

Currently if the client resolves the problem on their own, they have no way to close the ticket.

As a suggestion, you could put a "Close" button right next to the "Post Reply" button on the Ticket Details screen.

This is the same feature request as Task #661. Eddie's suggestion of adding a close button is exactly what is in v2, and I would like to see it included in the official (gold) release of v3.

Did eSupport have this feature earlier? I see Modernbill uses Kayako and has a close ticket option.

Yes. In eSupport v2, clients could close their tickets. Kayako did not include the ability to close the tickets when they created v3.
