Until the time we turned it on, users were accessing the vBulletin system we installed about 18 mo. ago. Users are now asking for our exsiting vBulletin or similar environment be integrated into the support suite. Since it does not appear that vBulletin can be an option on the main menu, I was wondering if consideration has been given to either officially integrating vBulletin into support suite? -or- adding one of your own. Adding this additional functionality greatly deepens the functionality and completeness of Support Suite. Jack Wilson Northwest Software www.nwsoftware.com |

Hi Jack, It's great to hear that SupportSuite was popular. There is an increasing liken to converged software (that does everything, very well) but I am afraid that we won't be coming up with our own forum software that directly integrates with SupportSuite - at least for the time being. One of the best ways to go about convergence is not to reinvent the wheel but instead to integrate and mash things up. So certainly we could look to integrate existing forum software (or a community developer could). I am afraid you won't be seeing anything like this soon as we have a lot on at the moment. I have moved your thread to the Think Tank for further discussion ![]() -------------------------------------------------------------------

Hmm, an integration similar to how ModernBill has it would be possible with both IPB and VB because of their plugin systems. It would be really cool to see this. Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

For the foreseeable future, we will not be offering a forum / discuss solution as part of the package. As Craig said, an integration (LoginShare or more featured that than) may be possible, however. -------------------------------------------------------------------

What do you mean by Main Menu? If your just referring to the client area like what first appears at http://support.kayako.net with the register, submit ticket and all those options. If thats what you are referring to you can edit the /includes/Widgets/widgets.php file and you can actual add a icon for your forums.. Digital Mayhem, Inc.
