Create ticket views specifically for STAFF - 14-06-2006, 12:52 PM

Right now I can create a view for tickets "assigned to me." However, I have a staff member on vacation and I want to create a view that is only tickets assigned to "John Doe". The only way I can see his tickets and respond to the open issues is view ALL tickets, and that's a royal pain to sift through! Please add an option when creating a ticket view to select a STAFF or DEPARTMENT to view. More detail on how the filter is configured...

it seems like you just want to create a filter to either bring out the ones that are under his name or a flag type or something. I kinda get what you are saying but im just making sure.

Right, create VIEWS to show tickets by particular STAFF.

tickets->filters->new filter-> filter by owner, equals, person you want here.

is not the way you want to do this?

no problem, took me a while to realize what exactly the features were and how to use them. You can also create multiple variables for the filter in case you want to also do custom fields or by flag or something.
