Exclamation Custom Fields For Live Chat Session - 25-01-2007, 04:26 PM

Hello dears!

I really think it's very important/usefull and also easy to implement, to have the ability to collect custom fields from visitors when they start a live chat session, like not only the name and email, also some custom fields we can create, as we can with the new tickets.

Also, I note than if we create custom user registration fields for a user, this info is not visible for the live chat operator for this user.

I'm crazy or this is a mising easy but consistent functionalitys for the eSupportSuite product ?

Arrow Live chat custom fields - 11-07-2007, 12:47 AM

Is it possible to make a section so when the customer clicks to chat, the input name,email and department, but can I input an area to let them go ahead and type in the question, then when the click submit, a message saying" Please wait while your representative inspects your question(s)"?

Not currently. Would be a nice feature though. Needs moving to feature requests really.

It is under Will Implement in V3 but it hasn't been implemented as of yet.
