Require Validated Users to leave Comments

Hello,

It appears "anyone" can leave comments to the Knowledgebase, News, etc. This has been a target for spam! I'd like people submitting comments to have to register and validate prior to leaving comments! I only want validated users to be able to leave comments.

Using 3.0.90

Very good suggestion, or disable comments from admin area...

Has this been addressed yet!? I have hundreds of spam in my comments! There should at least be a disable or captcha option.

A free mod is already available for this which adds CAPTCHA for comments. Look into the Mods section of the forums to know more about it.

Very cool....

Does this module also add an ability to see which article a comment is for? Or, the ability to delete the 500 SPAMS I have, in one instance, since I didn't think I needed to look for a 'MOD' to add what common sense would say should be a feature of such a suite of software.

I do not believe this is available. Kayako would be adding this in v4.
