For example, when deleting CC, BCC and/or Third Party recipients, this happens for each recipient/delete! Also, when adding Custom Fields to a Ticket, this is happening! Please allow the Staff to Edit the Ticket, and only jump back to General View after pressing the "Submit" button! For a typical Mail Parser Ticket, we need to go to the Edit screen (after jumping back to the General View screen) a dozen times, just to edit the Ticket! PeteV eSupport hosted 3.11.01 |

The change being requested is actually a whole lot bigger than it sounds: each edit is done immediately because that prevents intersecting state edits. Would it be good enough if after each edit the view went back to the same ticket, instead of to the ticket grid? That should reduce the effects of needing to make changes in bulk, but won't require an overhaul of how the fundamental system posts data to the server. -------------------------------------------------------------------

John, your suggestion would be a feasible workaround, if eSupport would jump back to the Edit tab, and not to the General tab. I could be wrong, but after Edit'ing a Ticket, eSupport jumps to either the Ticket grid or to the General tab of the active Ticket, correct? I recall that this is an option/setting in eSupport. Thanks. PeteV eSupport hosted 3.11.01 |
