    I am doing a test migration to a new host. Initially, i was getting 'unable to modify header' so i patched up to 4.77 as per another forum. first time, upgrade went smoothly, but i noticed an empty table, so i wiped the database and had the host import it via SSH

    i wiped all the files and re-copied everything and re-patched. this time, i get:

    Uncaught Exception

    How does one "patch up to 4.77"? Typically that's done by downloading and installing the paid version directly from Kayako that you're updating to.

    That line appears to be related to a database insert. Is SQL running in strict mode, by any chance?

    when i run this:
    SELECT @@GLOBAL.sql_mode;
    SELECT @@SESSION.sql_mode;

    they both come back as the default: NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION
