4.92 > Google SMTP Issues?

    We have upgraded from 4.70 to 4.92. Now, we cannot send successfully from specific SMTP accounts with Google Apps i.e when the "Use the same mailserver to send email" is checked to YES for each of the email queues.

    We are getting the following error when sending ticket replies to users:

    Expected response code 250 but got code "535", with message "535-5.7.8 Username and Password not accepted. Learn more at 535 5.7.8 https://support.google.com/mail/?p=BadCredentials

    I did a clean install as well to rule out any issue on my side. I have checked with Google and they cannot recommend any setting changes. I have allowed less secure apps via Google and so forth.

    Any ideas please? I have spent 6 hours so far :(

    We had to hire a developer on this and found the ENCRYPTED PASSWORD was used as the "Password" for sending the outbound mail. This is a bug in 4.92!
