BlackBerry Ticket Client for Kayako

    i did the second step in mobile/index.php and still same error

    im trying the trial not purchased yet i want t osee how it works before purchasing it

    any other alternatives i can do to test the product before purchasing?

    also i checked apache logs and found this:

    i tried to change blackberry to BlackBerry in the code

    BlackBerry Ticket Client doesnt connect withy V4 supportsuite

    Hi craigbrass, again its a disapointment to see your support doesnt work well.
    Created a ticket 9 hours ago with high priority...,which basically means nothing to you.

    So let me post it here as well...

    i have full license of supportsuite and have v4 running.
    but the app for my blackberry doesnt connect anymore.
    it shows error..unable to connect.

    did the v4 has a different login now?

    Hi Mariow,

    I don't believe that Craig's app is compatible with V4, or that he ever advertised it here as such.

    V4 has a entirely new API so Craigs app would need to be updated to support it..

    Ah .so thats great news....
    Was it to stupid thinking it would work ?
    Would it been a good idea if Craig would have communicated to customers that this doesnt work on V4 ?....so dont upgrade your kayako ?
    I should run V3 to keep the app running,and forget about V4 ?

    a lot of questions,no answers.....
    And no craig......

    I'm sorry you're in this situation, but in due fairness to Craig he specifically states the requirement for this app (including at the start of this thread):

    I am not sure what his plans for V4 compatibility are, and I hope you'll hear from him soon.

    Yes i know Jamie, but the first kayako V4 blog posting was in may i believe...,the latest release of the app was in march,that wasnt to far from each other...
    i assume kayako wants people to upgrade or buy the V4.
    Its not much money,but $30 for an app that stops working 6 months later isnt funny as i used it,like many others....
    so now im in this weird situation...
    no app,but running V4
    And what bugs me even more is that my ticket at Craig (urgent) isnt urgent as he didnt answered it today..

    I had a word with Craig about this and he has informed me that Blackberry App for Kayako v4 will be available within the next 1-2 months time.

    Besides one should note that v4 is yet beta even though Kayako suggests that it is stable enough. We too do not provide support for beta builds which undergo changes every 10-15 days.

    Well i had a talk to him by phone....
    Indeed he will be working on this and something will come out in the next 1-2 months...
    So craig, thanks for picking up the development... :)

    no...craig stopped as kayako was going to take over....
    but i have a feeling its gonna be in the year 2020 till they release it...
    so it sucks....lost my money and i was very happy with it on my blackberry, now im kicked back in time...

    Why?....lol
    Cause i paid for a solution which became obsolete when i upgraded to v4.
    i know more hosters that use their phone for ticket solutions,and i feel kayako is not taking this seriously.,..

    craig dropped out because of kayako's interest in this...
    so where is it?
    How far is the development?
    As paying customer(s) you dont hear anything...

    This was a third party app, and we are supporting Kayako 3 for more than a year from now. You could have held off on upgrading to Kayako 4 if your Blackberry app compatibility was essential.

    We are currently working on the mobile apps. Apps for iOS and Android will be out first, then followed by a solution for Blackberry.

    From what I understand, CBS has closed shop.

    And I would most certainly like a Blackberry App really soon. One of the reasons why we have not updated to v4. Either that or a mobile interface is required.

    Isnt that a bit weird Jamie ?
    I called craig some time ago and he stated he dropped the development because kayako was interested and working on it..,...so if that was the case is was fine by him...
    And now....months and months later still no followup on this and now you say iOS and Android will be first while blackberry is one of the most used !

    People are holding back on upgrading to V4 !!
    How weird, thats doing business the other way....
    Meaning the wrong way...

    I upgraded as i was a loyal idiot.

    Just received...

    Thats great....
    its time to pay again....

    I feel discriminated cause i use a blackberry...
