Comment on starting chat

    When a user starts a chat with me, as soon as I accept it they are sent a canned response of how can I help you. I suspect I set this up somewhere, but I can't find it now. It seems kind of redundant as they already told me what the problem was.

    How can I edit / delete this?

    Hi Cliff,

    If you log into the admin CP, and goto languages, phrases, and search for "chat", this will bring up all the live chat messages which are sent to the user, you can scroll through these ( note there are about 3 pages worth of them ) and edit them as you need.

    I believe in this case you want Admin CP, Staff, Manage Staff, select an operator, Profile tab, scroll down to Live Settings, Automatic greeting.
    You can have a different greeting for each staff member or enter a general greeting that applies for all.
