    Hi all,

I've almost finished my template for Kayako but i'm struggling with over 145 validation errors :(

From the top! The first one i'm struggling to understand is....

    NET-enabling start-tag requires SHORTTAG YES
    …Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

Can anyone shed any light on resolving this particular error? I'm assuming its because the document type hasn't been defined?

Are you trying to create a XHTML valid template? It would require some work as Kayako software itself is not XHTML valid.

    I'm not sure :)

The HTML check page says its checking it as HTML 4.01 Transitional

I would not bother working to get it valid atm as it would take too much effort. Wait for V4 which will be valid out of the box.
