In Progress - waiting on customer

    Where is stated when the tickets get this status?
    What happens to the cases which are in this status if I remove this status?

    We have a problem with In progress - waiting on customer/waiting on staff status. As there is often several people replying to the case and the status is not corresponding to the reality. So we would like to get rid of these and maybe have only assigned or assigned/in progress case statuses.

    But the question remains, how does Kayako know when have this status (where is is set in admin portal) and what happens to cases in case I delete the status.
