.699 is no longer a beta.
Download from my.kayako.com after logging in or select File, Application, Check for Updates within KD.

  3. Is there a full list of what was fixed/updated?

I'm unable to view any issues or fixes at that link, Jamie (no results found). Does it require an account and login?

Doh, my bad. Forgot this was a private project. Here is the list:
    • [KD-228] - KD faces dead lock situation while accepting multiple chats
    • [KD-238] - cefbrowser.exe does not close
    • [KD-244] - App never exits (intermittent)
    • [KD-245] - Deadlock when chat roster changes
    • [KD-248] - SIP inconsistency with specific VoIP provider
    • [KD-250] - openSSL crashes because of multithreading implementation
    • [KD-252] - Update PJSIP to the latest version

We are still experiences crashes/freezes frequently. These still occur with all staff members doing various things. Here is a list from from one staff member yesterday:
1:30pm - locked up while typing with four active chats.
1:50pm - locked up while typing with one active chat and one in queue.
3:49pm - locked up while scrolling down a chat with five active.
4:03pm - locked up for no reason at all that I can determine.

    Hi Joe
I'm not sure - it isn't something we specifically test with. If Microsoft Lync is SIP based, then I don't see why it shouldn't work.

Hello, MS Lync does use SIP protocol but I am still unable to connect this to kayako's updated desktop app. Are there any other ideas/thoughts on this? We would love to see this working.

Hi Jamie, any additional thoughts or suggestions on this one? We are unable to connect MS Lync with kayako desktop.

    Hi Joe
I am afraid not. We rely on http://www.pjsip.org/ for SIP and VoIP. Maybe there is detail in the MS Lync server logs? I know that some people have issues with MS Lync (in general) because of issues around how TLS may or may not be configured, root certificates etc.

As long as the SIP server is configured correctly, in theory there shouldn't be any reason why you couldn't connect to it using Kayako Desktop (which uses PJSIP).

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance than that

Thanks for the reply. We will continue to troubleshoot. TLS is configured and lync server logs have not been helpful in troubleshooting. Hoping that someone else from the community might chime in that has been able to connect MS lync to kayako desktop.
