KBA and Download area

    Hi,

    We currently use the download area to host downloads of our product documentation, however the content would also be relevant within the KBA area but is too much hassle to upload by copy and paste to the KBA area, so two questions about V4 functionality:

    Can you upload whole documents to the KBA area?
    Can you set a download to be a KBA too or vice versa?

    Also when replying to a ticket in the current version you can insert or attach a KBA or download, I would like to be able to just post a link to the KBA or download to keep email size low, will this be possible, I know you could add this to the standard response but if you change the download category then the download link becomes broken.

    I believe what you have requested would be possible in v4. However Jamie can confirm it.

    In V4, you can link file Downloads from the Downloads module to Knowledgebase articles. This should cover what you're trying to do.
