Live Chat Chatter ID and Location Information

    Hello, we just turned livechat on for our website and we are finding that the chatter id/ip address is the same for every visitor. Also, we are not seeing any location data coming across. We have loaded in and indexed the GEOIP data. Any ideas on how to get this working? Thank you in advance.

    Hey Joe,

    Could please ensure that you are not running the help desk behind a proxy/cache ? If so, kindly uncomment the line: define('ENABLE_FORWARDED_IP', true);

    You can find this line of code in file: __swift\config\config.php

    This should resolve the issue that you have reported.
