Live Chat in French Not Working After Importing Translation Files

    Hi there,

    Our Live Support stopped working for French only. When customer selects a language from dropdown, and picks "Français", then the following string appears instead of a timer:

    This happened after importing translation files, as provided by Kayako (sic).

    This was due to Javascript variable _swiftLanguage being initialized incorrectly as:

    var _swiftLanguage = {'istyping':'%s est en train d'écrire...', 'staffnotacceptedchat':'Votre message n'a pas pu être envoyé - veuillez attendre qu'un opérateur accepte votre requête.', 'chatendsurvey':"Nous aimerions entendre vos commentaires. Appuyer sur Annuler, pour participer à un courte enquête, sinon, appuyez sur OK pour fermer la fenêtre.", 'chatendednotification':"La conversation est terminée.", 'chatendednotificationsub':""};

    The clever eye will see that a single quote is not escaped properly for the first JSON variable (istyping).

    To fix this, go to Language Phrases, and restore identifier "istyping" in French to original settings. This will have the effect of changing "istyping" from:

    %s est en train d'écrire...

    %s est en train d\'écrire...

    This wrong behaviour was verified by inspecting translation file for 4.79 and 4.80: kayako-fr.zip. Embedded xml file (fusion.support-center.language.xml) is not escaping this translation correctly:

    <phrase section="livechatclient" code="istyping"><![CDATA[%s est en train d'écrire...]]></phrase>

    Are there other broken parts by these translation files?

    One more Language Phrase required restoring to defaults for escaping single quotes properly: staffnotacceptedchat.
    Then, chat works properly in French, displaying chronometer correctly.
