yes, Please. We need to be able to undo a merge. It's simple common sense to have an UNDO option.
As the other thread clearly states, this is on the books for v4.

A feature I'd love to see implimented is a split function. Many times a user will log a ticket saying that (for example) a computer is broken and that also they need a phone number change etc. As that would be a job for 2 different departments in alarge organisation this requires copying and pasting and logging a new ticket. If there was a magic split button that provided 2 text areas for you to have the current and then a new ticket so you can cut and paste / move betwwen the two then hit split it would be utterly amazing.
Another function that would be great to see is unmerging tickets where you wither do it by mistake or just realise that shouldn't be merged.
Can't believe this still isn't a feature as it's been requested since 2007. Will we see this before launch?
Without this and WYSIWYG ticket replies I won't be upgrading.
We will be implementing this. Unfortunately, we only have so much time - there are currently other features that need implementing that are required by more of our customers than this one.
Is there a rought eta of this on your road map or have you just decided?

We already have kayako resolve 4 and do not see a 'splitting' option. Have we missed something?

Try merging a ticket in Resolve 4, that's even more fun when the tickets are in 2 different departments.
4 has quite a bit of work to go before it is really a 4.0 release. If my memory serves me correctly V3 was just as bad.
4 has all sorts of bugs and key features such as spell check missing.
If there's a current way to do this please let me know.
It would be nice to be able to split a ticket into multiple tickets. For example if someone asks for two things in one ticket to be able to split that into two separate tickets.
But it isn't.. Any ETA on this?
