System Automatically changing ticket properties

    We have started seeing a strange problem with our tickets.

    If I create a ticket user "Send an email", in the "to" field I enter in the customers address. Create the message as normal and click send. That all works fine, however, if we move the ticket to a different department and change the status, the "system" updates the ticket properties and changing the email address to that of the user who initially created the ticket.

    Any ideas?
